The Man Behind the Curtain is the twentieth episode of season 3 of Lost. Ben Linus is featured in the episode's flashbacks, which show island events.

Ben begrudgingly begins to introduce Locke to the secrets of the island, beginning with the mysterious Jacob. Meanwhile, Juliet's secret goes public.
